Mass Transit Directions

BMHQ is easily accessed by mass transit.

SF MTA's website has documentatin and real time transit information, as well as transit maps and route information.

transit.511.org can tell you specifically which bus and train lines you can use to get to BMHQ from any starting address at any time of day.

By bus:

• on the #19 and the #44: there is a stop at Evans Ave and 3rd St within couple of blocks of HQ - walk toward downtown on 3rd St.
• on the #91: a stop at Cargo Way and 3rd St.

By light rail:

• the T line has stops on 3rd St: the HQ is between Marin St and Evans Ave stops.

By commuter rail:

• on BART:
  • get off BART at any of the downtown stations (between Embarcadero and Civic Center, and transfer to MUNI undergroung; get on the T line heading towards the Ballpark (is considered "inbound"). See light rail directions above.
• on Caltrain:
  • Take Caltrain to 22nd St in San Francisco, walk to the corner of 23rd st and 3rd St and catch the T line toward Bay Shore/Sunnydale. The next stop is Marin St.

Coming from points East:

• Take 1-80 WEST over Bay Bridge
• Merge onto US-101 SOUTH
• Take the Cesar Chavez exit toward Cezar Chavez/Army St East
• Go down Cesar Chavez/Army St
• Turn Right on 3rd St

Coming from points South:

• Take US-101 NORTH towards SAN FRANCISCO
• Bear Right on I-280 North Ramp
• Take the Cesar Chavez exit and merge onto Cesar Chaves/Army St East
• Turn Right on 3rd St

Coming from points North:

• Take US-101 SOUTH towards SAN FRANCISCO
• Take I-580 EAST towards Richmond Bridge/OAKLAND
• Take I-80 WEST towards SAN FRANCISCO
• Follow directions above for coming from the East
