Reno - Propane & Biofuels
Call around if you plan on filling large propane tanks. Several of the major propane suppliers in the area aren't located within the shopping hubs we've detailed, but you can find out more information by looking through this listing:
Yellow Book - Reno PropaneOf course, small propane cylinders can be picked up at a number of places, and notably the Save Mart and Raley's supermarket chains plan to be stocked. Check out the Groceries category for a supermarket or hardware store near your shopping destination.
As for Biofuels, there are currently, really only two places in the region to look to.
Bently Biofuels

Bently has been very supportive of burners both off and on playa, providing E10, E85, B5, B20, and B99.9 fuels at their store, as well as making pre-arranged deliveries of B99.9 to locations in Black Rock City early in the week of the event. Wait? Bulk Deliveries to the playa?! Yes, they can deliver biodiesel to you on the playa. But -- IMPORTANT: Please call Carlo directly at 775-720-0754 as early as possible to arrange fuel deliveries. Bently will be delivering B99.9 (not blends) for both taxed (on-road) and untaxed (generators, construction equipment) machinery early in the week. They will need an accurate estimate of your fuel needs by July 31st. They will also need to know your exact location on the playa and a contact person. They will not however be providing fuel storage containers for the event. Weather can sometimes make fuel deliveries impossible, so please plan accordingly, and make sure you have enough fuel on hand to get you through a few days.
