Reno - RV Parks, Campgrounds, RV/Trailer/Truck Rentals, and Storage
Renting any size recreational vehicle the week of Burning Man is almost impossible in this area, so plan ahead and book early if you're looking for enlightenment in an RV. It's not trivial to find large trucks or trailers around then, either, so do your research and plan wisely for the best results.
The RV parks and campgrounds listed below tend to be busy around Labor Day, and it is always recommended that you check for reservations as early as possible.
Most of these locations are part of one of the shopping hubs we've broken out in the greater Reno area. However, the first two RV parks are west of Reno along I-80 and would be among the first things you'd encounter once you cleared Donner Pass and crossed into Nevada on your way to the playa.
Most RV park operators are aware and appreciative of Burner business. However, some in the past have created something of a reputation for burners of being inconsiderate of others, especially when it comes to leaving behind all your playa-trash and not cleaning up the showers when they're done. If you use RV park facilities, please help us all out by maintaining Leave No Trace, behaving responsibly, and showing respect to the operators and guests wherever you go. Continuing to live up to our respectful reputation will only help us all find a warmer welcome the next time we avail ourselves of these resources!
If you need to know where to get rid of all that trash you've tied onto your vehicle or crammed into corners, visit the Fernley, Grand Sierra Resort, Recycling, Dumps, and Greywater pages for disposal services.

Storage
Could you really use some storage for some of your art or theme camp? Great idea to store it close as possible to the playa, many are finding.
We would however draw your attention to two storage places in the region which sort of stick out because of their helpfulness to and discounts for burners.
Pack-It Park-It Stor-It Mini Storage
1900 US Hwy 50A - 775-835-6464 - (Fernley)
Wrondel Self-Storage
2790 Wrondel Way - 775-826-6621 - (Plumb Lane)
Storage companies are otherwise way too numerous to otherwise bother listing throughout these pages, however. Here are some links to help get you started elsewhere in a land plenty with storage:
