Welcome to the Burning Man Press Resource CenterThe Press Here section of the Burning Man website is designed to help journalists prepare for the event. All media outlets must register with the organization prior to arriving on site. The media team is here to help you get your story, but the most important thing to remember is that you are a citizen of Black Rock City and are expected to comport yourself accordingly.
Please keep in mind that Burning Man is a private event. Professional photographers and ALL moving film and video camera users are required to sign use agreements that will be emailed upon approval of a project. Written permission is required to use any image from the event commercially or publicly; no public use of any image may be made without this written consent.
Also please remember that we do not provide press passes for the event and you must have a ticket to attend. It is imperative that you get you ticket prior to attending the event as no tickets will be sold at the gate. You can visit http://tickets.burningman.com/ to get your ticket.

Note: If you are shooting film or video only to show your friends and
family, you do not need to register as press. Information about personal
use video cameras can be found here. Personal use still cameras are permitted
at Burning Man and do not require a written agreement, but any image use
beyond personal use must be approved in writing post-event.
